So this past Friday I attended the third installment of Africa Underground, sponsored by the National Museum of African Art. It’s an evening of performances, activities, and eating/drinking. You can also check out the exhibitions while you are there. Former Project Runway contestant Korto Momolu showcased her fashion designs. The fashion show was disorganized but lively to say the least. There was music which included live performances and deejays. My friend and I even got to make a mud cloth bracelet.

Here are pics of us making the bracelets.  And check out the next Africa Underground. There should be one this winter. The tickets were $25 which included entrance and one drink.
