Words of Kindness

26 Oct

So today I reentered Chick-fil-A for some ketchup for my waffle fries.  And as I was going through the glass doors this age  40-ish guy was leaving. His hands were full with a bag of food and one of those carrying containers for your drinks. So I opened the door and let let him exit before I entered. He thanked me for the courtesy and said something like “chivalry isn’t dead for women” or something to that effect. I smiled and I think I said, “You’re welcome.”  So after I got  the necessary ketchup packets, I headed back to my car. The same guy was pulling out of his parking space and said, “You’re a real, lady.” I smiled again.

And that was real nice.
