Lazy Days of Summer?

3 Sep

I think the  past three weekends of travelling out-of-town and the incessant demands of my at-present demoralizing 9 to 5 have temporarily sapped my mojo. At first glance, I thought I was suffering from the lazy days of summer but I wouldn’t categorize it as laziness per se. Lazy has such a negative connotation. I think we all feel pressured to be constantly doing something irrespective of the significance of said something; always connected, always productive, always saving the world.

We all need time to heal and recover from the hustles and bustles of life, its many triumphs and countless disappointments. And if that means me sitting on my couch watching Netflix then so be it. Our bodies and souls need and deserve rest.

And besides, What’s my motivation?  🙂
